Being Led by God


Needing direction in your life? Needing clarity on a decision? Wisdom from God? God wants to be present in your life to lead you through each aspect of life you face, both good and tough. You can depend on Him to guide you and lead you through and out of difficult times as well as days of rejoicing. Allow these Scriptures to encourage you to look to our heavenly Father for He has good plans for you and your loved ones.

(S) “If you go the wrong way—to the right or to the left—you will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the right way. You should go this way.’”

Isaiah 30:21 NCV

(P) As ___ ventures through life making decisions on the future, help ___ hear You Lord clearly speak what and when you want ___ to do and go.


(S) “Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.”

Romans 8:14 NIV

(P) Thank You Heavenly Father that __ is your child and that You lead ___.


(S) [Jesus said,] “He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.”

John 14:17 NLT

(P) Thank you Holy Spirit for showing the truth about all things to ___. Even though nonbelievers cannot receive you because they cannot see or know you, I thank you that ___ can know and understand you. Thank you for living within ___ so that you can comfort, teach and speak truth in all things.


(S) [Jesus said,] “When [the shepherd] brings all his sheep out, he goes ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger. They will run away from him because they don’t know his voice.”

John 10:4–5 NCV

(P) Even as Jesus is like a shepherd who cares for his sheep and they know his voice, I ask that ___ hears you and follows your direction, protecting ___ with every step ___ takes. May ___ not be distracted by things and people that could be harmful to them, but run away from them to stay close to your protective arms.


(S) “I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way that you should go.”

Isaiah 48:17 AMP

(P) Thank you God that you teach ___ to profit. May you lead ___ in the way ___ should go to prosper.

(P) May you lead ___ continually Lord.


(S) “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV

(P) May ___ trust in you Lord with all ___’s heart. Help ___ lean on your understanding instead of relying on themselves. In all ___ does, help ___ allow you to be a part of each aspect of my/their life so that you may direct ___’s paths.
