Fertility Challenges

The range of emotions that can flood one's mind in the planning and anticipation of a precious newborn can tire a woman. The desire to be pregnant, the disappointment of becoming pregnant only to miscarry or somewhere in succeeding with complications can take a toll on the woman and marriage. Whatever stage you or a loved one face, our trust in God before, during and after is essential in facing the challenges of each trimester and beyond. God is truly our help, comfort, strength and health through it all. May these Scriptures empower you to believe God is present to walk you through good and tough days.

Exodus 23:25-26 ESV

(P) Out of ___ following Your leading in obedience, thank You Lord for taking any sickness from me/them so that no miscarriage or barrenness will take place over me/them.

(S) “9 You know that the Lord your God is the only true God. So love him and obey his commands, and he will faithfully keep his agreement with you and your descendants for a thousand generations. 10 But if you turn against the Lord, he will quickly destroy you. 11 So be sure to obey his laws and teachings I am giving you today. 12 If you completely obey these laws, the Lord your God will be loyal and keep the agreement he made with you, just as he promised our ancestors. 13 The Lord will love you and bless you by giving you many children and plenty of food, wine, and olive oil. Your herds of cattle will have many calves, and your flocks of sheep will have many lambs. 14 God will bless you more than any other nation—your families will grow and your livestock increase.”

Deuteronomy 7:9-14 CEV

(P) God, we know that as we obey your commandments, You promise to be loyal to us and keep Your word with us. Thank You for loving and blessing ___ and blessing ___ with children and provision for all of their needs.

Your wife, Elizabeth, will give you a son, and you are to name him John. 14 You will have great joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, 37 For nothing is impossible with God.”

Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me.”
