God created the Sabbath for us to pause and rest.
Matthew : Come to me … I’ll give you rest.
Revelation 21: 6 and he also said I am the alpha and omega the beginning and the end. To all who are thirty I will give you freely from the springs of the water of life.
God wants us to have a flavor of what heaven will be like. We are all thirsty for something.
Psalms 55 :2” please listen and answer me, for tonight I am overwhelmed by my troubles.. “
If we are willing to be authentic and accept where we are and identify it, God will meet us there.
Zephaniah 3:17 “ for the lord your god is living among you…”
He has a song for us.
Mark 6: 31 Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
Mark 2: “he went early in the morning and prayed”.
John 6:3 (he set boundaries) . 3 Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples
You can create boundaries and still be a blessing.
